TCB cylindrical roller bearings are mainly classified as precision cylindrical bearings and full complement bearings (without cage).
Precision cylindrical roller bearings
High precision cylindrical roller bearings are bearings having a low cross sectional height and high load carrying capacity with little resilience. They are particularly suitable for machine tool applications, enabling spindle with high stiffness and running accuracy.
TCB high precision roller bearings are available in single and double row cylindrical roller bearings like N10 and NN30, NNU49 series. The rollers of N and NN bearings are guided between integral flanges pressed in the inner ring. Those of the NNU bearings are guided between integral flanges on the outer ring.
Full complement cylindrical roller bearings
Full complement cylindrical roller bearings incorporate a maximum number of rollers and therefore withstand very heavy radial load. However they cannot operate at the same speeds as caged type cylindrical roller bearings. The standard TCB full complement rollers bearings include single and double row full complement roller bearings.
Generally, NCF and NJ designs represent as singe row full complement roller bearing while NNCF and NNF as double row full complement roller bearings. |
